Basic, no frills lodging. Bed reasonably firm. Pillows sucked. Shower curtain bent down so wouldn’t stay closed without getting it wet so it stuck to shower wall. Yet for the price we didn’t expect a five star experience. Quiet, ordinary breakfast offerings. All in all we were okay with this place.

When I pulled into the morning glory motel I was informed by a Bellingham police department officer named Nico that this was a known drug motel and that it was not safe for my 2 young boys. At which time I went to the front desk and asked for a refund of my money And was refused any kind of refund Or any kind of conversation at all. All the pictures that are online do not look anything like the motel. The motel was dirty and linens were dirty. Front desk staff was extremely rude and obnoxious. And there was multiple people hanging out in the parking lot smoking drinking alcoholic beverages and prowling the cars. I would not recommend this motel for anybody especially people with 2 young children. And will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and making another police report to the Bellingham police department.

The staff is wonderfully nice and helpful. Accommodations have been partially updated and our room seemed very clean. Towels and bedding are nice. Plenty of free parking. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was more than adequate. Easy access near freeway exit and very close to a lot of shopping.

On arrival we were welcomed and made to feel at home the room was large and clean. The was a blank wall but did not bother us as the curtain are normally closed for privacy. The breakfast was good with a varied selection to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and the down of Bellingham was a great place to visit. For the hotel access to the I5 made it easy for location especially for visitors from the uk
